TERMS & CONDITIONS
Booking & Deposit

A $30 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

This deposit is non-refundable when the booking is cancelled within 24hrs of your booking time, if we are notified with minimum 24hrs notice, the deposit may be credited toward a rescheduled booking at a date that suits you.

By completing your booking, you automatically accept our Terms & Conditions. Please review these before booking.
Post-Service Concerns

Any concerns regarding the quality of a service must be raised within 24 hours of completion. Due to the nature of everyday use and environmental exposure, we are unable to assess or take responsibility for items reported outside of this time-frame,
Item Collection & Storage

Customers may drop off items at our hubs for cleaning during their scheduled appointment.

Items are stored onsite at our contractors’ hubs/homes for the duration of the booking. By booking, the customer acknowledges and accepts this arrangement.

If items are left beyond the scheduled pickup date/time, a $15 storage fee may apply at our discretion. Customers are encouraged to collect items promptly.
Condition Photos & Quality Control

We take photos of all items before and after cleaning to ensure quality control.

Customers acknowledge that these images may be used internally for quality assurance and in case of disputes regarding item condition.
Rescheduling & Cancellations

Bookings can be rescheduled to any convenient date so long as it is cancelled/rescheduled with a minimum of 24hrs notice. The deposit will be credited toward the rescheduled service.

Cancellations without rescheduling, or cancellations within 24hrs forfeit the deposit.
Service Limitations

While we handle all items with care, The Baby Seat Spa is not responsible for pre-existing damage to items.

Cleaning is carried out according to manufacturer instructions where possible; however, we do not guarantee the prevention of wear or minor cosmetic changes over time.

Customers must ensure items are safe and complete for cleaning (e.g., straps attached, no missing parts).
Liability

The Baby Seat Spa's contractors are insured for professional service, but liability is limited to the cost of cleaning the affected item(s).

We are not responsible for items left outside of scheduled bookings or for delays caused by customer failure to provide items on time.
Privacy & Data

Customer Acknowledgement

Safety & hygiene disclaimer
Customers confirm items are free from hazardous materials (e.g., biological waste) before drop-off. The Baby Seat Spa reserves the right to refuse cleaning unsafe items.

Any disputes will be addressed directly with the customer, and the governing law is that of the state where the service is booked.
Service Disclaimer
All services provided by The Baby Seat Spa involve deep cleaning and sanitisation of baby gear using baby-safe products and methods suitable for each item.
While we take care to achieve the best possible results, outcomes may vary depending on the condition, age, materials, and prior use of each item. We do not guarantee complete stain removal, full restoration, or specific cleaning outcomes.
Our cleaning process is designed to improve the appearance and hygiene of items; however, we do not make claims regarding the total elimination of all bacteria, germs, or allergens.
Customers acknowledge that pre-existing wear, damage, fading, or material degradation may not be reversible and may become more visible following cleaning.
Condition & Liability
By engaging our services, you acknowledge that all items are accepted in their current condition. The Baby Seat Spa is not responsible for:

While we take all reasonable care, cleaning baby gear carries inherent risk due to the nature of materials and prior use.
Sanitisation Notice
Our services include a sanitising step using baby-safe products; however, no guarantees are made regarding specific sanitisation levels, bacterial reduction, or allergen removal.
Product Safety
The Baby Seat Spa does not provide installation, safety certification, or product safety advice. Customers are responsible for ensuring their baby gear meets manufacturer guidelines and safety standards before use.
Mould Treatment Disclaimer
Mould treatment is offered as part of our specialised cleaning services where requested. This process is designed to treat and improve the appearance of visible mould and affected areas.
Due to the nature of mould and its potential to penetrate fabrics and materials, complete removal cannot be guaranteed. Staining, discolouration, or residual marks may remain even after treatment.
Mould may return depending on environmental factors such as moisture, humidity, and storage conditions. The Baby Seat Spa does not guarantee permanent mould removal or prevention of recurrence.
Items with heavy mould may have underlying material degradation. While we take care during treatment, The Baby Seat Spa is not responsible for weakening, deterioration, or failure of materials affected by mould.
Stain Treatment Disclaimer
Stain treatment is offered as an additional service to target specific areas of concern. While we take care to achieve the best possible result, complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed.
The outcome of stain treatment depends on factors including the type of stain, how long it has been present, the material of the item, and prior cleaning attempts.
Some stains may lighten, fade, or improve in appearance but may not be fully removed.
Certain stains, including but not limited to mould, dye transfer, oil-based stains, and deeply set or aged stains, may result in permanent discolouration.

You accept that cleaning results may vary depending on the condition of the item and that specific outcomes, including complete stain or mould removal, are not guaranteed.
