Big Mess? Little Problem
Our Deep Clean & Sanitisation Process
When we describe a service as a Deep Clean & Santisation, we mean far more than a surface wipe-down or a standard wash cycle.
Every item entrusted to us is cleaned using a thorough, multi-step process designed to remove visible dirt, hidden grime, and harmful bacteria -while remaining safe for babies and children.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
What 'Deep Clean' Means
A deep clean focuses on physical removal of contaminants.
This includes:
-
Full disassembly of items wherever possible
-
Removal of all fabric components not just outer covers
-
Intensive hand-cleaning of fabrics using controlled temperatures appropriate for the material
-
Use of specialised tools and techniques to break down stains, oils, sweat, milk residue, bacteria, skin, and embedded debris
-
Detailed cleaning of all plastic shells, frames, and bases, including seams, crevices, joints and hard-to-reach areas
This stage is labour-intensive and cannot be rushed. It is designed to restore items to a hygienic, refreshed condition - not just make them look clean.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
What 'Sanitisation' Means
Sanitisation is performed after the deep clean.
Once dirt and residue are removed, we apply a sanitisation step to help eliminate remaining germs and bacteria on both fabric and non-porous surfaces.
Sanitisation is not effective on dirty items - which is why it always follows a full deep clean, and never replaces it.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Hand-Cleaned, Not Mass-Washed
Items are cleaned by hand, not batch-washed or processed in bulk.
This allows us to:
-
Adjust temperature and technique to suit each item
-
Protect delicate materials and safety components
-
Ensure a consistent, thorough result across all surfaces
Drying is carefully managed to maintain item integrity and prevent moisture retention.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Non-Toxic, Natural, & Eco-Conscious Products
All cleaning is carried out using non-toxic, baby-safe and eco-conscious products.
We do not use harsh chemicals, fragrances, or shortcuts that may compromise:
-
Material Safety
-
Skin Sensitivity
-
Air Quality for infants & Children
Our process prioritises safety first, always.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Why This Matters
Baby items are exposed to:
-
Food and milk spills
-
Sweat and body oils
-
Saliva and bodily fluids
-
Outdoor pollutants and bacteria
A true deep clean and sanitisation process ensures these contaminants are properly removed, not just masked.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We believe baby items deserve the same level of care and attention you would give them yourself (if only you had the time) - just with professional tools, training, and standards.
